FxPlug "Mix" setting

Is there a way to turn off FxPlug's standard "Mix" setting that is added?
For things like retiming (which our Twixtor plugin performs) this is a
pretty much useless, if not confusing, setting.

Perhaps I just missed something in the SDK docs?
