Hi Rainer,
From my simple test in FCP 7.0 (regardless of whether I export just
the mother sequence or the whole project)
a marker on the mother sequence, another on the nested sequence, and
another on the clip within the nested sequence
exported and imported with all 3 markers coming back into the correct
locations.

Can't try this myself on FCP 7 - yet.
