Hello List,
I am currently building an FCP XML file for importing assets
into FCP. I was wondering if it is possible to use a relative path in the pathurl
element?
I am creating XML document as an export from an asset
management tool, the resulting document resides in the same folder as the
exported assets. With this in mind I just want to be able to refer to the assets
as follows:
<?xml version="1.0"
encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!DOCTYPE xmeml>
<xmeml version="4">
<clip id ="Jeremy
Solo">
<name>Jeremy
Solo</name>
<duration>188</duration>
<rate>
<ntsc>TRUE</ntsc>
<timebase>30</timebase>
</rate>
<file
id="Jeremy Solo1">
<name>Jeremy
Solo1</name>
<pathurl>file://Jeremy Solo</pathurl>
</file>
</clip>
</xmeml>
The above however does not import correctly.
FCP rejects the file reference. (File not found)
Any ideas would be much appreciated.
Regards,
David
