Title: Re: Final Cut 6 and 7 side-by-side?
Bruce,
If the FCP 7 installer works like previous ones, what I do is copy Final Cut Pro to some other name, like Final Cut Pro 6.0.5.
Then I install Final Cut Pro (in this case v 7). It installs a “Final Cut Pro” app, which is why you want to rename the previous version first.
Will this work with FCP 7? Dunno, don’t have it yet .
It would be great if Apple realized that people need multiple versions on their machines (perhaps FCP 7 does?). And not just for geeks like me! :-)

RE:Vision Effects, Inc.
Can Final Cut Pro 6 and 7 be installed side by side on the same machine? They don't have to run at the same time, but it would be helpful to have both installed on the same machine in our QA lab for testing.
