Hello,
When I set in- and out-point using the FCP and export a video clip, it
creates a timecode track inside of the exported QuickTime movie file.
If this file is opened with the QuickTime player, it shows that
timecode track is added.
Also, it shows TimeCode Start and TimeCode Stop information for a
video tack.
However, when I tried inserting a timecode track using QTKittimecode
sample program from Apple, the QuickTime player doesn't display
TimeCode start and TimeCode Stop information for the video track,
although it displays a timecode track.
Can anyone tell me what the differences are to have those information
for video track or not?
When I have FCP open the two file, the FCP correctly displays the
starting part of the videos using the timecode.
Of if they are different and have different purpose, can anyone
explain me what TimeCode Start and TimeCode Stop information in a
video track are for?
Thank you.
