NSCollectionView in FCP 6 and 7 on Snow Leopard

Hi all,
An FxPlug I'm working on uses an NSCollectionView. When I upgraded my machine to Snow Leopard, I found that in both FCP 6 and 7 it no longer animates or updates properly. Manipulating the view's content, the array of represented objects, properly changes the view's content internally, but the individual items views do not re-render. No amount of forced rendering has been able to fix this (because the views are updated internally by a timer, for animation, I assume). When I perform a drag selection, the way the view should look is revealed inside the selection rectangle. Curiously enough, my original code, which worked fine in Leopard in all hosts also works as expected in Motion 3 and 4 in Snow Leopard. Does anyone have any insight in what might have changed between Leopard and Snow Leopard in FCP specifically?

Thanks!
