Wes,
There's nothing special you need to do to make your plugins work in
SnowLeopard. The same plugins should work on both operating systems.
When you upgraded your system to SnowLeopard, did you upgrade a
Leopard partition with Final Cut Studio already installed? Or did you
install onto a new partition? If it was a new partition, did you run
the Final Cut Studio installer on your new SnowLeopard install? Final
Cut Studio must be installed on your boot volume, and you must run the
installer. Drag install is not supported.
It would also be helpful if you included the console messages
directly. Summarizing what the console "complains about" is less
helpful.

Not that I'm aware of. I have Sapphire from Genarts installed and
their web
site notes that it is so far incompatible with 10.6.
Is there anything in the system log or console that gives any hints?
The Console log only complains about a DPX component, a Sony plug-in
and the
Ozone framework.
