Since sending that email days ago, it has been discovered that the problem pertains to sequences within sequences. A guy at work sat down and slowly started removing items from the project until it stopped crashing. I'm guessing there isn't going to be any magical work-around for that, unfortunately. I have to put together some information, reproduce it myself, and submit a bug report.
