Is there a document on how to decrypt and read a Final Cut Pro preference file? I have an app that currently requires the user to choose its own scratch disk path and asks them to match it to their Final Cut Pro scratch disk but I would like to just be able to read the FCP preference file and extract the path so my app will dynamically change when the user changes their Final Cut preferences.
