Hi Darrin,
thanks for the reply. I finally could find the source of my strange behavior with TemporalAPI. I did not set this property as follows
[NSNumber numberWithBool: YES], kFxPropertyKey_MayRemapTime
since I did that everything is right with my code.
Regards Pablo

in a previous post I reported having problems with retrieving frames from the function renderOutput. I do not get correct frame data when the source footage is in Dv-PAL and DV/DVCPRO-NTSC format even though I get YES from the function getInputBitmap. For all other footage formats it just works. I am working with Final Cut Express 4.0.1 and FxPlugSDK 1.2.4.
Is there anybody out there who has experienced similar behavior with the temporal API? Does any body know any workaround for retrieving frame data in the renderOutput function? Is there maybe any method to get access to frame data without using the temporal API?
I would be very helpful for any hint on this.
If you could file a bug with some footage that's causing you problems attached, that would help us reproduce and narrow down the problem.
Thanks,
