Thank you Darrin. I'm sure we will all keep our eyes peeled for any announcements.
To other developers: Apple said they previewed FCPX to get community reaction, which they're certainly getting right now. So the strong indication is that FCPX is still in active development, and open to feedback.
Somehow I doubt we're getting FxScript continuity, but I find it hard to imagine any scenario where FxPlug—or a some similar plugin API—is left out of FCPX. What would Apple gain from keeping plugins out of the app? Plugins help make the host competitive.
So let's all simmer down. Sure, we'd all love more information, but so far there is no indication that the sky is falling. By the way, the fact that Darrin is still at Apple and replying to this list in an official capacity is a good sign, and may even be telling...
