Concerning FCP 7, does anyone know why files converted with "QuickTime Conversion" from NTSC to PAL still have a Vidrate of 29.97 in FCP but report 25 (24.98) in QuickTime Player.
Or better yet, why movies converted from PAL to NTSC using the same method have the correct Vidrate of 29.97 in both QuickTime and Final Cut. It's as though QuickTime conversion can add frames properly so Final Cut can understand but not subtract them.
