updating custom parameter value does not force render (FCP)

  • Subject: updating custom parameter value does not force render (FCP)

Forgive the technical question about that obsolete product, but in FCP, I have hidden custom parameter that I stuff some NSData into in response to another control changing. If I only update the value of that one parameter, FCP does not re-render the effect. I have to twiddle another parameter or move the time bar to get it to update.

Is there some other way to force a re-render in this instance?
