Marco confirms that it seems to be working properly there - I still
haven't updated yet since I wanted to check against the original build.

So if you have two sliders with value=0 with a "gang" toggle, with the gang toggle on and you drag slider 1, and update slider 2 to have the same value in the parameterChanged call, then quit/restart, gang is on and slider 2 is reset back to (ie the change never took permanent effect).
This bug makes whole classes of nifty effects impossible, and forces the only way to have a "preset" be to make it as an effect template in Motion.
This all works in Motion BTW.
