Thanks Vijay. Just to confirm - can you only send XML to FCPX? Are there no Apple Event calls for getting XML, TOC, etc, like in FCP 7?

Hello Jon,

FCPX supports import of a .fcpxml file via an 'odoc' (Open Document) Apple Event.

I read on Larry Jordan's blog that he saw a demo of CatDV where they were sending data to FCPX using Apple Events. Is there any documentation for this or is it remaining a private feature for now?
