So let's just wait for the PDF - which would be helpful if you don't internet access all time you need it.

The FCPXML doc used to be at
http://developer.apple.com/library/mac/documentation/FinalCutProX/Reference/FinalCutProXXMLFormat/FinalCutProXXMLFormat.pdf
but it's no longer there—apparently when the doc was updated to 1.1 last week the PDF wasn't generated.
You can still follow the link above to get redirected to the HTML version though.
