fcpxml - duration of a retimed clip

Hi,

I spent the whole day trying to figure out how to get the original <clip duration> and <clip start> value of a retimed clip from a set of <timept> nodes in a fcpxml. All I have achieved is reconstructing the <clip start> with some simple maths.

Has anyone (successfully) reverse-engineered the duration?
