Hi all,
(a little bit off-topic, but I think it's worth sharing)
I just want to share my latest episode with Lion's very, very, very buggy finder. I am slowly wrapping up a new plugin package and by doing it I just got exactly this (not photoshopped!! It's the original screenshot):

Looks wired, right? This happened when I was trying to move the "CHV Repair FX" folder from the Effects folder into the Generator folder. It stayed like this, even when I was resizing (forcing a refresh) the window. It only normalized when I closed the window and reopened it. Then everything was ok.
Here are some of the problems see with 10.7's Finder:
Speed
Since OSX 10.7 the new (64-bit?) Finder is very slow in general, especially when it comes to folders that contain 10000 items. Opening them takes forever. Additionally the Finder slows down over time. When I'm not (force) rebooting the Finder for a longer period of time (working all day on it), then everything slows down. Opening a small folder with 20 items can take easily 10 seconds.
Graphic / Organizing Errors
See above.
Wrong or not updated file sizes
Do you see the file "CHV Text FX.pmdoc"? The Finder reports "Zero Bytes" while it is actually 9kb. The file size is also not updated even when I close and reopen the window, put new items in the folder or do anything that might force an update of the folder and its content.
Does anybody else experience the same behavior?
cheers
