next to working with film I’m a type designer by profession.
Here's what's happing:
I edit film in FCPX. Then I realize that some part of my typefaces that I use in the film don't look good. I switch to my type design application, change a detail, generate fonts and replace them in the Font Book app. Then I switch back to the still open FCPX. As soon as a text generator clip is touched in FCPX that uses this just replaced font, the application crashes. If I quit and restart FCPX without touching such text clip, it works.
Reproducable: Always. I'm aware that working with fonts that change during film editing is a rather unusual case. Just wanted to let you know.
