Ardo,
The standard text parameter allows you to have multiple lines. Users may need to use Option-Return instead of just Return in order to get a carriage return into the text. (I think - it’s been a while since I’ve needed to do that.) I believe the ScrollingRichText example allows you to type in multiple lines of text. Give it a try and let me know if it causes you any problems.
Also, I think I said to look at the FxOnscreenControlAPI protocol, but I should have said FxOnScreenControl protocol. (The “API” one is methods the host supplies to plug-ins, the non-“API” version is methods your plug-in must implement.) OSCs do respond to key events, hence the -keyUp::::, -keyDown:::: methods. Sorry for the confusion.
