Hi There,
please confirm the following…
Given the fact the Motion and FCPx has to support legacy OpenGL we are limited to the
NSOpenGLProfileVersionLegacy
We have tried switching it by grabbing the CGLGetCurrentContext but that will make Motion throw a dialog the current document could not be opened and thus our filter won’t run… It makes sense that we are not allowed to ‘alter’ the GLProfile of Motions NSOpenGLView but then again, Apple’s Reference is SO BIG on departing from Legacy OpenGL and so is the Developer Conference… Hence me wondering why you are still using Relic OpenGL in your own Top-Knotch Application…
This is kind of limiting to us and we have to resort to OpenCL to get it done.
Am I missing something here. The obvious perhaps ? And Motion is not defaulting to Legacy OpenGL ?
Thank you for a quick response
