At Denver Public Schools, we are switching to Scholastic Enterprise for the entire district…thought I would create a package (Iceberg) and push using ARD or DS….but when pushed and installed…the apps starts and the quits unexpectedly in 10.5 or freezes in 10.3…anyone have success creating a pkg for Scholastic enterprise…or advice in general? Appreciated!!
I don't remember this Particular application.
But Type To Learn 4 TTL4 put configuration information in the user account.I wonder if this one does the same.
When I made a package for TTL4 I had to do it for that specific user :and machines that didn't have that user had to be installed by hand.
What I would do take a before snap shot then reinstall on top of the broken one and see if that makes it work then use both packages .Or may be the first one missed some thing.
I also have found problems with 10.3 and 10.5 OS being to different.
Some thing else with TTL4 is G4 Hardware 512 Ram and 866 MHz processor.
If I looked the correct information up:
""Student Workstation
Windows XP Pro or Mac OS X 10.4.11 Operating
System, P4/1.6 GHz or G4/1.25 GHz Processor, and
512 MB Memory.""
So if I was doing this i would be building for Leopard hardware only I would forget any PPC units.
