New features:
Cut/copy paste support (because everyone will ask)

Details of the event:
- New APIs for developers (1000 new touted)
- App store changes to allow for other sales models (subscription/
episodic content/levels for games/etc)
- In App purchase of content (per above) same apple/developer cut as
before 70/30
- Can't buy content from WITHIN a free app
- Peer-to-peer connectivity (app to app) via BT and Bonjour (games or
contact beaming FINALLY)
- Allowing direct hardware interface to connected devices
(accessories) by dock connector or BT
- Map API and Maps are not accessible to developers in their apps
(display map in your program, same as goggle maps and the app
- Developers can us Core Location for Turn by turn but YOU need to
supply the maps as the once we license do not allow for that.
- Developers can get access to the iTunes lib on the device to play
content/etc
- VoIP apis
- Push
Support for sound and text alerts
Working to make work in 80 countries (each one operator handles diff
but same to developers)
API for streaming video/audio (automatically can detect network type
and content provider can provide appropriate stream(s), just like with
QTSS)
- Data Detectors (like in Mail.app today on Mac OS X)
