Thanks for the quick reply to my Office 08 question Corey, I do have the
permissions set to 1777 on the .TemporaryItems folder, but I will delete
all data inside it and see if that helps. Odd thing again is that it is
only affecting PPT and Excel saves, not Word-- which was the problem in
2004.
Also, wanted to note that while the Security Update does seem to have
helped with our AFP issues it has not resolved them. What used to happen
almost every day (200+% AFP utilization on the Xserve) now happens every 3
to 7 days. I am attaching a screen shot and will contact AppleCare as you
suggest.
Note the Jump in CPU usage by "steps". This is typical of what we see.
