iMac 20", WGM account, crashing on logout

| I am having an issue with our iMac 20". After doing all Apple updates during the Xmas break, our iMac 20" computers with 10.5.6, 1 GB ram are now crashing when a WGM user logs out. It doesn't happen with every account however which is throwing me for a loop.
Is it a preference thing? (I deleted all preferences for the effected user and problem still existed.) I ran Disk Utility and repaired permissions. Newly created WGM user works fine. I don't want to wipe the user and create another account for them if I can avoid that.
Any suggestions?
