We were having the same problem. It is odd in that it doesn't happen right away but seems to wait a while after we image.
Anyways, we did the registry edit you mention. Do ensure that RealTimeIsUniversal is a DWORD and has a value of 1. On top of that, we are disabling the "Apple Time Service", uh, service. Go to Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services and then find and disable "Apple Time Service".
We haven't had this rolled out long enough to be quite sure it is working just because the problem didn't show its head until a while after imaging.
I am interested in any other suggestions.

Currently in the process of converting our lab into duel boot Imac’s. So far two out of Four (4) machines are experiencing time issues. The xp side was a head by seven (7) hours. The two machines that are having issue also lost their Ip address and are using the loop back address. I was planning on editing the xp side registry “HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\TimeZoneInformation\RealTimeIsUniversal”. I know this is an old issue has anyone else had this problem and been able to fix it?
