As part of today's introductions Apple is now offering the Promise SmartStor DS4600 desktop RAID system with 4x1TB drives for only $719.

It is very quiet, low-power, fast, and will spin down the drives for energy savings when not needed. It's a great external storage compliment to the new Mac mini with Snow Leopard Server as well as a desktop RAID system for anyone looking for a few terabytes of RAID protected storage.
