[Rockies-Edu] New imacs, 10.5 and Kernel Panics...

| Hi, I just got some of the new 21 inch imacs (3.06 GHZ) machines. For the first time I have not been able to use my current 10.5 clone on them, they Kernel Panic. I tried to boot a 10.5 disk to do a fresh install to create a new clone and it won't even boot the disk. I have not upgraded our OS X Server to 10.6 yet so I can't manage the 10.6 clients.
Anybody have any sage wisdom for me?
