I had a similar problem with our iMacs in a lab with 1 projector station. I found a program that allowed me to toggle display mirroring and then used the login-wrapper login hook to set based on the system. It has been working for almost a year without any issue. I can provide the program or try to figure out where I downloaded it from. if ($computerName == projectorsystem) then $scriptDir/mirror -on endif Eric From: rockies-edu-bounces+eschneid=email@hidden [mailto:rockies-edu-bounces+eschneid=email@hidden] On Behalf Of Weston Taylor Sent: Thursday, September 09, 2010 6:34 PM To: email@hidden Subject: [Rockies-Edu] mirror display setting for all users We've got a two year old iMac running 10.5 with all the updates; it's hooked up to a projector and it seems that every user who logs in must set the displays manually to mirror.
Is this the default behaviour? If so, where could I change the setting such that subsequent users who log in get the display mirrored automatically? Perhaps in a plist in the library of the default User Template?
Thanks for any pointers!
