Greetings,
Today, Apple released Mac OS X Lion and Mac OS X Server (Lion) on the Mac App Store. More importantly, education customers can now purchase Lion and Lion Server on the online education store, in volume, in quantities of 20 or more. Customers who've purchased the Apple Education Licensing Program (AELP) for their systems will receive redeem codes for downloading Lion and Lion Server.
Additionally, the MacBook Air, Mac Mini and Apple Cinema Display lines were all updated today. The MacBook Air now features Core i5 and i7 processors and a Thunderbolt port. The Mac Mini now sports the i5 and i7 processors and a Thunderbolt port as well, and has SSD storage as an option.
For IT options, you can now order a Mac Mini with 8GB of RAM, 1TB of internal storage and 4TB of external Thunderbolt storage for ~$2,200.
The Apple Cinema Display now boasts a Thunderbolt port as well, and keeps the $949 price.
Thanks,
Corey
