Just an update for everyone. I indeed screwed up something simple. I
think I applied the original .xls and not the newly downloaded copy!
When I looked at the new copy, it did say 11 codes used in the excel
sheet. We used 10 on the iPads, and 1 was the code used to download
initially into iTunes. When I reloaded this excel sheet in Apple
Configurator, the 1 code that said "this is already in us" but didn't have
an iPad assigned to it changed to become free and available.
Truly splendid, so if one follows the instructions correctly it does work
just as kb/HT5188 says it should.
