Hi all
Back in the day when I was doing Dock management .We installed Work Group Manager and Server Admin on the one client computer and set the Dock with the Applications we wanted.I never installed any Applications on the Server just to Client computers.
I am assuming it is still the same way you install the Admin Tools on a client computer and adjust the Dock with what you wanted and the placement order.
Is it still done this way?
Another question I have what OS are supported when running Mountain Lion Server.
Can you control say Leopard ,Snow Leopard and Lion clients dock I have one school that would like to do that.

I was hoping there was an update to allow adding applications that are installed on the client to the dock. Right now the app has to be installed on the server for it to appear in the list.

Hi Chuck,
Here's a screen shot of the dock management settings in PM on ML Server. Something specific you were needing to see?

Just wondering if anyone has upgraded to Mountain Lion Server? We are hoping it has some improvements to Profile Manager (such as improvements to configuring the dock). Any gotchas?
Thanks!
