Ron,
I believe you can move Configurator over. Install it on another computer and then just save the profile you want from the original computer and copy it to the new computer and use accordingly.
I've messed around a bit with Configurator this year and found some issues with iPads and I'd be interested to know what your experience is. I've found that when I supervise the iPads that I can no longer copy the photos or videos from the iPad to a computer via iPhoto. You have to unsupervised the iPad and then you lose all the content in doing so. Have you had any issues like this with exporting/importing images/videos at all?

Subject: [Rockies-Edu] Configurator move to another computer
Can the Apple Configurator and its files on one computer be moved to another computer? How is it done correctly? Or why can it not be done?
We want to begin managing several carts of iPads with a single computer using Configurator but later we may want to have a computer for each cart. Please give your recommendations. Are the iPads tied to the original Configurator or can they be assigned to another one, etc.?
