One of the charter schools we work with is slated to go to the web-based MAP test in Winter this year and so we are watching this closely. We’re still mostly shared iPad carts, so we can dedicate some to MAP testing.
Casper Focus has a really nice teacher-driven workflow for pushing out the guided access profiles in a 1:1 environment. They can guide just their classroom to the app and then remove it. You don’t have to make them MDM admins, or call the MDM admin when they are ready for testing. And they can manage this from their own iPad. Very slick.
The Airwatch rep says that they are working on something similar for release this school year.
