This summer our district received approx. 240 iPads, all of which are configured via Apple Configurator. Unfortunately, now that the iWorks apps are free (Keynote, Numbers, etc.) the only way to grab those apps is by touching each device since Apple doesn't issue redeem codes for these free apps unless you send the vpp folks the invoices. Earlier this fall I sent our invoices off to vpp and received only 120 codes, and I assume this is because my school received 120 devices. However, I have had no response when emailing them back to inquire about the additional missing codes. The other schools really need these, because every time you restore, you lose those apps, and have to restore them manually device by device. This is a major drag and time eater. Suggestions? Is there some way that our District Tech director could contact them and get all of the codes to distribute to the rest of the schools?

Thanks, Susan Arrance, Summit Middle School
