Technical Support Analyst II
We are seeking a friendly, experienced IT professional to join our help desk team. This team member will equip staff and volunteers for effective ministry by assisting them with new technology set up, providing technology solutions, and performing a variety
of computer systems administration and support tasks for both the church and the school while offering outstanding and timely customer service.
(Primarily Macintosh) for approximately 1000 users, 300 pieces of computer equipment, and 700 iOS devices.
Responsibilities
Leverage Technology and Support End Users (Predominantly Macintosh) to Promote Ministry Success
- Deliver solutions that adhere to general IT best practices and requirements
- Provide verbal and remote instruction/assistance to the end user
- Provide tier 1-2 support function for the following items:
- Computer operating system
- Software application problems
- Printing
- Wired and wireless network connectivity
- Desk phones and voice mail
- Classroom interactive white-board technologies
- Adult and student iPads
- Provide coaching and documentation in a user-friendly fashion
- Maintain, follow, and update documented IT procedures
- Enhance and expand existing end user knowledge base and self service functions
Maintain the Help Desk Data and Assets
Respond to Help Desk Inquiries in a Timely, Effective, and Customer Friendly Manner
- Identify and meet appropriate Help Desk metrics for regular reporting
- Provide timely status updates to users with open trouble tickets
Oversee Equipment Deployment and User Management - Utilize Windows and Macintosh User Account administration for moves, adds, and changes for email, lists, file sharing, etc.
- Assist in deployment of Macintosh and Windows computers
- Maintain assignment of inventory, and reporting, for hard and soft assets/services

REQUIREMENTS
- Demonstrable Proficiency in: Current Windows Operating Systems; Current Macintosh Operating Systems; and Remote Access Tools: Macintosh ARD, Windows RD or equivalent
- Ability to walk extensively and lift up to 40 pounds
- Four + years of related help desk or technical support experience
