Ken's correct. We've been successful joining them to our wireless this way at St. Vrain. One tip when you're doing it - if you want to be able to see the screen with HDMI while you're doing the Configurator setup (not a requirement, but nice to have), you'll need HDMI and micro USB with very slim connectors. The ports are so close together that most cables won't coexist, so you're stuck with one or the other.

I may be wrong but I think you have to use Configurator to push the profile to the devices via the usb port.

Has anyone out there set up an Apple TV to connect to an authenticated wireless SSID?
I'l struggling with this.  We've recently undergone a change in our wifi infrastructure
and now I must connect with authentication.  Can't seem to find a good workflow.
