Hi Everyone,
As of Thursday, January 19th users with Managed Apple ID’s, can view and update Managed Apple ID settings by logging into appleid.apple.com<http://appleid.apple.com>.
At appleid.apple.com, Managed Apple ID Users can:
• View Apple ID
• Change Password and Preferred Language
• Add/remove Reachable At email addresses and phone numbers (used by Messages and FaceTime, if allowed)
• View Notification Email address (used by Apple School Manager, when resetting password for example). Currently you must click the Edit button in the Security section to see this address.
• View and Remove Devices that the Apple ID is signed into (removing the device signs the Apple ID out from that device.)
• Generate a Support PIN
• Administrators, Managers, and Instructors can add/remove Trusted Phone Numbers
• Administrators (only) can change the Apple ID and Notification Email. For other users, these changes can only be made by a user with appropriate privileges in Apple School Manager.
The following fields are not shown for Managed Apple IDs: Birthday, Payment Method, Shipping Address, Newsletters.
As before, in iCloud Preferences for macOS and iCloud Settings for iOS, Managed Apple ID users can:
• Change Password
• Administrators, Managers and Instructors can add/remove Trusted Phone Numbers
