Hi Everyone,
I hope this note find you well.
I wanted to provide a few brief updates.
1) iOS Deployment and Management workshops. Over the past few months I have worked with a few peers to develop a one day, hands-on workshop covering iOS Deployment and Management basics. This workshop covers the following topics.
- Deployment for 1:1 or assigned devices
- Apple Configurator 2.0 aided deployment
- Classroom configuration and use
- Redeployment of devices
- Shared iPad and use with Classroom app
Participants are provided a cloud instance of an MDM, two iPads, and a series of exercises which allows for a hands on experience in iPad deployment and management techniques.

2) Apple School Manager has a planned maintenance period for SIS/SFTP services on Friday March 17th between 1 and 2 PM PST. This page (https://www.apple.com/support/systemstatus/) is a great resource for monitoring Apple service and system status information.
