Hi!
Im on osx 10.2.2, WO5.2 and December developer tools.
The new encodingstuff in ProjectBuilder 2.1 seems very nice! Now every
textfile must have an encoding.
There is so far on one "but", see bellow.
I have selected Western (ISO Latin 1) as my default encoding. I create a
new project, select targets->application server->javacompiler settings and
set sourcefile encoding to Western (ISO Latin 1).
When I then add some norwegian 8-bit characters to the System.out.println
in the constructor in Application.java I get the following in
ProjectBuilder:
Welcome to kajhtmp2! \276\277\214
This should be:
Welcome to kajhtmp2! fxe
This did work with ProjectBuilder 2.0.1. There we had set encoding for our
java-files to Western (ISO Latin 1) and the same for the sourcefile
encoding (as described above), and there the encoding in the printout was
correct.
Am I doing anything wrong or is this a bug in ProjectBuilder 2.1?
