Hello all and Merry Christams!
I just made a small test EOModel database but when I added it to the
'resources' section, I could only add single files, not the '.eomodeld'
folder with all the files in it(plist, index etc).
When I added all the files from the folder individually, I still get this
error about not having a 'Primary Key' (even though I do). If I use a wizard
to make the project with database access, I can specify during the wizard
what eomodel to add, and it lets me add the folder and it works fine. But
how do I add a folder in a blank project? I've tried dragging and dropping
the eomodel from the EOModeller to the project window but that doesn't work
either. I've looked through the archives but the solutions (I think) are for
mac users because they talk about buttons and options that I can't see.
This is what I found:
"When adding any "wrapper-based" item to your framework (.wo, .eomodeld,
etc - anything that is a folder containing things) it is important to
add them in the correct manner to the project. First, be sure when you
add the item to your framework/application that you check the checkbox
to "Copy items into the destination group folder...."
Anyone know where this checkbox is?
"Secondly you should select the SECOND radio button in the "Add" sheet to
"Create FOLDER references for any added folders". This is not always
the default option which is selected: sometimes it is to create GROUP
references, which are transient (PB only) folder structures for
organization...."
Are these buttons for Mac users?
"Third, be sure that you add the resource to the Application Server
target: you should not add it to the project target "
Also, how do I specify the target for what i'm adding?
Regards,
Riaz
