Some (but not all) of the possible ways to deal with this are discussed here:

Is there a way of signalling instances of a WO web application that they should grab fresh data from the database?

I am aware of the commands relating to re-fetching and invalidating data, but is there a way of doing this externally? I have tried to solve the problem by creating an admin page in my web application that lets me (the admin) signal to the application that there have been changes which need to be immediately updated.

The problem is that I am expecting the application to be running multiple instances and this method will only refresh the instance that I will be connecting to.

Any suggestions?
