<snip>

I tried to order the Webobjects 5 with Java book by Termini et al, but
Amazon couldn't get their hands on a copy.

I've read both the Mendis book and the one you mention written by Termini et al, by Wrox press. It seems to me that while the Mendis book is a decent introduction to WebObjects for the novice (which I was when I bought the book, and so heartily enjoyed it), the Wrox press book is better for the slightly more advanced WO developer. While I'm sure it would be difficult for any book to cover all of the aspects of WebObjects that one might have questions about, this book does give many insights as to the best practices employed by some experienced WO developers. I fully recommend it.

Ryan
