Just think on EOModeler with out one!
We were talking about garbage collection and retain/release. None of
that
concerns you in EOModeler.
I agree.
But, at the end, if some memory laking arises from it (say, after doing
some expensive fetch inside EOM) it may be of concern...
However, as far as I know, there is no such a problem.
I hope Apple is not thinking in reimplement it as a pure-Java
application or a JavaClient or some other "pervertion" !!!!!!!!!!!
Why?
I like EOModeler as is... fast.
My experience with Java is that, it is still too slow (as compared with
compiled Obj-C). In particular the Swing refresh (compared with Aqua)
is a turtle.
Also, I love Cocoa/EO envairoment and, by the moment, the only reason I
know to keep the Bridge alive is EOModeler... (at least, in the
official side)
I hope Apple will agree with me that it is better to bring more and
better solutions than to take them out of the market.
