Can't you go into the Command prompt and type
jar -xf msbase.jar
or whatever for the file you want to unzip?

Chuck,
Actually, there is no way to unzip MS SQL JDBC jar into a directory.
The download from MS website is an install.
if you choose the default install, it installs the following files in:
msbase.jar
msutil.jar
mssqlserver.jar
c:\ program files\MS SQLServer 2000 JDBC Driver\lib
I have winZip, and when I right click on these files the only thing I
can do is Zip them.
