I have a situation where I have multiple instances of an application
running and periodically, even under situations where there is not
much activity against these instances, wotaskd ends up sporadically
marking some instances as "dead".
I have tried adjusting any and every time-out / lifebeat setting I can
but I don't see any rhyme or reason as to why instances are getting
flagged as dead.
I am running:
SOLARIS 2.6 (apache server)
WebObjects 4.5.1 Update 3
The pertinent wotaskd startup script parameters are:
-WOPort 1085 -WOAssumeAppIsDeadInterval 600
And the pertinent application startup parameters are:
-WOLifebeatDestinationPort 1085 -WOLifebeatInterval 300
Any thoughts/ideas on stopping this behavior, is there a setting I'm
missing or a way to make wotaskd not "ping" an instance?
Thanks
Ken
