What happened to the Java Package Project Type

I am in the process of upgrading from WO 4.5.1 to 5.2 (on Windows), and
previously in 4.5.1 you could create a Project of type 'Java Package'. That
option no longer seems to exist, and after running JavaConverter on one of my
4.5.1 Java Package projects, Project Builder refuses to open the new project
because it doesn't recognize the project type.
Is there a work around?
