To build a session bean and an app. for it on a Mac, as described in the online documentation in Enterprise JavaBeans, you need to be connected to the internet. ( cos, I think, it goes off to java.sun.com for the J2EE class files!!) Make sure you click the build button (not build and run) for both. Then (at least if you have a dynamic IP address), disconnect, don't make any changes and click build and run. To further develop, repeat ad nauseam.
