Dear WO users,
I have downloaded the web objects "trial version" as per below quote
taken from download page.
WebObjects is available in a free trial version for Mac OS X version
10.2.2. See Getting Started for details.
Then I download the "getting started" pdf file and it is all in Windows
format. I didn't even know it could be run on Windows.
Why is the getting startted guide in Windows format?
Furthermore, after downloading the 'trial version" IT DOES NOT WORK.
I have installed the 5.2 license key and it said "key successfully
installed"
After rebooting, none of the apps work. the only thing that works is
WOA launcher window.
It says drag Web objects applications onto this panel to launch them
and they do nothing. In fact they just jump back out of the window.
EO Bean assistant does not work, EO modeler does not work Rule editor
does not work, Web services assistant does not work, and worst of all,
Web objects builder does not work.
And then I try to read the manual and it refers to Windows.
Is the trial version faulty? Or am I missing something?
What do I need to do to make it work?
Can someone please help me.
