Why can EOModeler access the database and not D2W? Of course my model has been added to my D2W project.

A quick look at the Hexdreams site indicates that a bundle must be added to EOModeler to add PostgreSQL functionality. But this bundle has no bearing on any WO app that includes the model. Any WO app that accesses PostgreSQL needs to be built with the JavaJDBCAdaptor and PostgreSQLPlugin frameworks included in the project.

This might be one explanation for your problem, but it's only a guess.
